We are currently recruiting Children Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire area for a number of residential homes, supported living services to fulfil ongoing assignments for nights and weekend duties.
As a Children Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker working for Onecall24, you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Supporting children and young people with their daily routines and activities.
- Providing care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, including those who may display challenging behaviour or be at risk of going missing from care.
- Promoting independence, life skills, and positive behaviour in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
- Supporting children with education, hobbies, recreational activities, and community engagement.
- Showing compassion, patience, and understanding while helping children feel safe, valued, and supported.
