We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work for our partner Secondary Schools that are seeking new staff for the next academic year.

The Cover Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the absence of teachers by supervising students and ensuring that their learning continues in a positive and constructive manner.

Responsibilities:

·      Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged in learning activities.

·      Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.

·      Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and instructions left by the absent teacher.

·      Provide support and assistance to students as needed, answering questions, and offering guidance with classwork.

·      Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that occur during the class.

·      Liaise with teaching staff and school administrators to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication regarding any issues or concerns that arise.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree, or relevant field preferred.

·      Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is desirable.

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.

·      Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.

·      Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas and with students of varying ages and abilities.
