Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Adult)

Location – Sidmouth, Devon.

Pay – £11.50- £22 per hour

Shift – Mondays and opportunity for Bank.

Full Training Provided.

We are recruiting for a team of carer's to work with our client who is a remarkable young lady that lives at home with her family. She was initially diagnosed with a brain tumor and is now visually impaired and also epileptic, requiring ongoing support during the day and into the evening, 7 days per week and also occasionally requires night time care. Our client is very outgoing and enjoys many fun activities and hobbies. She enjoys baking, going to the gym, strictly come dancing, listening to music and has a huge passion for raising money for charity and those in need. Her team of carers will be heavily involved with supporting in all of these amazing activities on a day to day basis, as well as providing exceptional healthcare support at all times. The role will involve overseeing all health-related support, which includes moving and handling and medication support as required. We are looking for carer's who can deliver person centered care in line with a personalized care plan, created specifically to meet the needs of our individual clients. This is a great opportunity to work with an amazing young adult.

You will be fully supported by our highly skilled Nurse Managers, who are on hand to support and guide all of staff, to ensure the highest standards of care and an excellent pathway of professional development.

What Experience We Require:

(Desirable but training will be provided)

• Visual impairment.
• Epilepsy.
• Moving and Handling.
• Medication.
