We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work for our partner primary schools that are seeking new staff for the next academic year.

The Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in supporting teaching staff and facilitating the learning process for students across various subject areas.

Responsibilities:

·      Assist teaching staff in preparing and delivering engaging and interactive lessons, including the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

·      Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance or guidance, helping them to understand concepts and complete tasks.

·      Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' learning and development.

·      Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.

·      Support the management of classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

·      Help to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere in the classroom, building positive relationships with students and fostering their confidence and independence.

·      Collaborate with teaching staff and other members of the school community to ensure the overall success and well-being of students.

Requirements:

·      Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent.

·      Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

·      Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their learning and development.

·      Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, with a proactive and flexible approach to tasks.

·      A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the school and promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students.
