Brendoncare and OneCall24’s Tough Mudder Challenge

The #TOUGHERTHANMOST Tough Mudder challenge with The Brendoncare Foundation and OneCall24 team has officially been completed

Who are The Brendoncare Foundation?

Brendoncare is a fantastic organisation which helps older people improve their quality of life, through their care homes, close care facilities and social clubs across the South of England.  They offer support built on relationships and responds to the needs, aspirations and choices of each individual. Brendoncare are always looking for ways to support the service they provide, by holding charity events and taking part in sponsored fundraisers amongst other things.

What is Tough Mudder:

‘Tough Mudder is a 10 miles of mud and 20+ best-in-classobstacles designed to drag you out of your comfort zone. With no podiums, winners, or clocks to race against, Tough Mudder isn’t about how fast you can cross the finish line. It’s about pushing yourself — and your team — to discover what you’re really made of .’  Quoted from the Tough Mudder website.

The challenge

Back in June we were invited to join the Brendoncare team in a sponsored golfing event which was a true success, 4 months later we challenged them to a Tough Mudder run full of obstacles, mud and team work. A team of 13 employees from both of our organisations rose to the challenge to run the 5K obstacle course in South London this past weekend.  Thanks to their camaraderie they got through the whole course and raised a fantastic £3,500 which was more than they had set out to raise.

We would like to say thank you to the amazing 6 members of The Brendoncare Foundation who took part last Sunday; Elaine, Lucy, David, Trish, Samantha and Emma and to our wonderful team of  7 consultants; Alex, Melissa, Shai, Louie, Sajin, Rishi and Daniel. We are very grateful to have shared this experience with such an amazing bunch. We look forward to taking part in future events. We are very proud of you all for completing such a strenuous and exhausting challenge.
